Robbery at DB Mart 08/05/2003

On Tuesday the 5th of August 2003, a black male in his mid to late 20's entered the DB Mart on Main Street.  He displayed a black handgun and demanded the money from both registers and the safe.  The clerk was taken to the office area where the safe was kept.  A second clerk was inside the office.  The suspect forced the clerks to open the safe.  He made off with over $14,000 in cash, least seen fleeing Southbound on Orange Avenue (St. Rt. 208) in a dark color vehicle.  He was wearing a long sleeve white shirt and black gloves.  Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Officer William Herlihy.
